The Associate Designer, a full-time position, will share our dedication to our clients, has a knack for asking the right questions, is a self-starter and a great communicator. Our successful candidate has an entrepreneurial spirit and thrives on coming up with proactive creative solutions to allow for our team to provide superior client experiences. Estimated salary: $50,000-55,000 – DOQ.

Hiring Design Associate

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with our Senior and Interior Designers to assist with multiple projects simultaneously throughout the design process.
  • Engage with and manage vendor communication through project completion.
  • Create design plans and architectural drawings in AutoCAD including floor plans, elevations, and more.
  • Devise design presentations, proposals, invoices, and purchase orders.
  • Source FF&A with guidance.
  • Assist with preparation and participate in installations, as well as photography shoots.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in an Interior Design focused major or creative course of study.
  • Knowledge of design management software a plus (Studio Designer).
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at various stages simultaneously with a strong attention to detail.
  • Understands the importance of organization and processes.
  • Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
  • Understanding of code, materials, and sourcing.
